Mary Shovelle is an Irish painter and printmaker. She works directly with private clients, interior designers and other artists. Mary uses photography, screenprinting, etching and traditional media to produce portraits, landscapes, designs and still life. Her studio is based in Kensington, London and she has a printmaking studio in Dorset. Her Irish trips ‘home’ result in landscape and narrative paintings that show her love of Ireland.

Mary studied Fine Art/ Painting and Printmaking at The Heatherley School of Fine Art and The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts. Her work Design For a Scarf: The Ancient Ritual of Teamaking was exhibited at The Victoria & Albert Museum exhibition “Inspired By” in 2011. Mary set up StudioMO5 in 2012 and her printmaking studio in Dorset in 2013.
